Raindrop Technique in 2022 – The Fascinating Science Leave a comment

Raindrop technique involves the application of a sequence of essential oils and the laying on of hands that brings structural and electrical alignment to the body in a relaxing and invigorating manner. During the raindrop session, essential oils are dropped onto the client’s back from approximately 6 inches above the spine – which is how the technique derived its name. The oils begin to work as they pass through the client’s energy body, even before they reach the client’s physical body. The technique incorporates other methods such as vita-flex, effleurage, spinal tissue pull, finger straddle, circular hand massage, palm slide and fan strokes.

The initial oils used contain high levels of phenols which cleans the receptor sites of the cell to get the cells ready to accept the benefit of the subsequent oils. The following essential oils contain a variety of monoterpenes and sesquiterpenes to assist in deleting misinformation in the cells and in reprogramming correct information into cellular memory to restore and maintain physical and emotional wellness.

Essential oils used for Raindrop Technique

The essential oils typically used are: Oregano (battles viruses – high level of phenols); Thyme (anti-viral phenols and monoterpenes); Basil (muscle relaxant – high level of phenols); Wintergreen (supports bones and joints – high level of phenols); Marjoram (anti-spasmodic – phenols and monoterpenes); Cypress (improves circulation and respiration – monoterpenes and sesquiterpenes); Peppermint (anti-inflammatory – high level of phenols); Valor (for spinal alignment and muscle problems – high level of monoterpenes).

During any given Raindrop session, only those layers – both physical and emotional – that the client is ready and willing to release will be released. Negative experiences are often our greatest teachers. That is the reason we sometimes hold onto them – because we still have something to learn from them. Even if the client doesn’t release all that is no longer serving them, the Raindrop Technique still has many benefits since it stimulates detoxification of the body. It helps rid the body of any toxins or bacteria that are deep within the body and provides a boost to the immune system. It is used to help realign the spine, reduce stress, and relieves back pain and tension.
