Reflection – No: 1 tip for ‘A Quiet Mind’ Leave a comment

What I learnt todayโ€ฆ

The dictionary meaning of the word “Illuminate” is –
(1)ย to supply or brighten with light.
(2) to make luminous or shining.
(3) to enlighten spiritually or intellectually.

I heard my friend saying this morning that this year on Diwali, she would like to put a lot of lights๐Ÿšฆ outside her home so that it looks beautiful and illuminated. It’s been 2 years that we have not been able to do proper lighting during Diwali she exclaimed.
While I got this emotional connection of celebration, I also got my personal AHA moment of awareness.
We all love to clean, decorate and brighten our homes๐Ÿ  during festivals, but do we really look inside our home ๐ŸงŽโ€โ™€๏ธ ie. our body, mind and energies? This internal home is mostly ignored and not given importance. Why is this so?

The answer is simpleโ€ฆ We all run away from loving and accepting self and it’s always the world first and me lastโ€ฆRight?
The simple truth is to connect back to self, look within, and light just 1 small beautiful lamp ๐Ÿช”of Love ๐Ÿซถand Faith๐Ÿ’ฏ inside. This glow of warmth ๐Ÿ’ซand joy๐ŸŒŸ will spread magically into all parts of our body and mind and presto you are illuminatedโšก internally and this aura of love will vibrate outwardly as well.

The harshness of heavy emotions like fear, anger, insecurity, jealousy etc that have found their way inwards and settled snuggly internally can be released and replaced with the brightness ๐Ÿ’ฅof laughter๐Ÿ˜ and warmth of wisdom๐Ÿ“š and awareness.
As a great philosopher says “There are two ways of spreading Light: to be the candle ๐Ÿ•ฏ๏ธor the mirror๐Ÿชฉ that reflects it”.
So be itโ€ฆ
Light within ๐ŸŒˆand glow and shineโ€ฆ โœจ
